Community Outreach

Besides bringing people to Christ, LCC believes in the practical ministry of Jesus Christ. Besides preaching the Gospel, LCC attends to the needs of the community surrounding our areas of reach. We have different programmes that the church has implemented in the past years. The following programmes are part of the church activities.

Food Security

In partnership with the local ward councilor, families are identified from the community to be assisted with our church food programme. Every monh the identified families receive food parcels and prayers

Skills Development

The church assist the youth of the community in looking for better opportunities that youth can access. The church has links with a skills development centre called KwaDambuza Youth Development centre. Youth are assessed by the church and referred for different skills training including learneship programmes.

Job Opportunities

The church also assist in job creation. Currently we have 15 people that are permanently employed through the assistance of the church.

Talent and Artist Development

The church recognizes the gifts and talents in youth. LCC is linked to Nduru Recording studio. The church identifies youth that need to be exposed with the gospel music industry. The identified youth are then given an opportunity to record with Nduru Studio.

Leadership Development

We believe that for the community to benefit a lot from the church, a strong leadership should be built. The church has a school of Excellency that focuses on trainings of leadership skills. These trainings are done on a quarterly bases.
